Hello Internet,
Tell me your favourite quotes.

ARGH. Right, for the past 3 months we’ve had intermittent connection which has resulted is hours of downtime and annoyance. We’ve had a new router and cables and filters, two engineers.
Now we’re switching to Virgin Media. Hopefully that’ll fix this shit.
Yes, i’m being unoriginal and doing a blgo about my day, whatcha gonna do about it?
So, I had a History lesson this morning, in which I learned about 1900’s politics. Wow, there’s a subject to really wake you up on a Monday morning…jesus christ…
I then had a free period, in which myself, CJ, Steven, Charl, Kara and Jake embarked on our weekly visit to Morrisons, in which we discussed hills in my back garden and how to dispose of them, Steven’s ridiculous metabolism and how much of a clever boy Simon Cowell is.
I then had tutor for an hour, and escaped my 3D lesson to go to the dentist, which only took 2 minutes (I was blessed with lovely teeth, eeep!), although she did put some bananananan flavoured flouride stuff on my teeth.
I’m telling you, that stuff was not banananan flavoured.
Then my mother and I went to asda, where I bought a pair of gorgeous killer heels for £15, and a dress (which is going back, wayyy too trashy).
Came home, spent about 4 hours on art homework, did half my CV, and now i’m going to sleep.
I’ll try and do a more interesting blog soon :)

*manly voice* My internet’s down at the moment, hence the lack of blogs, but I will make up for the missed NaBloPoMo posts when I get it back! *end manly voice*
P.S. In case you hadn’t gathered, this is actually Zöe, and Mitch asked me to post this. Well, the bit about his internet anyway. Not the bit about making up for lost blog posts…he may kill me for that… *whistles innocently*
- NaBloPoMo is going well, is quite fun, maybe not so much when you’re half asleep and just remembered that you haven’t blogged today…
- Mew were surprisingly amazing, as mentioned in previous blog.
- Job hunting starts tomorrow, by sorting my CV out properly, and then wandering around town on Wednesday attempting to pluck up some courage to hand some in to places :P
- I’m so ridiculously excited for Christmas already!
- Specialist consultants are incompitent twats.
Have a great week everyone

Today, Mike had his birthday bash. Which involved:
- Going for a Chinese Buffet in town.
- Either going to a bonfire or “The Bench”
- Home
The Chinese was pretty nice, it was better to get to see everyone again. Mike, Sma, Chris, Chris, Chris, Jonny, Matt, Ad, Ryan and Lucas.
We got the bus to Stockton Heath then waited, and went to the Bench. Fun times.
Yesterday, I had my first Christmas present – tickets to go and see the band Mew in Manchester, off my lovely friend Lottie.
We met in town after college, avoided some creepy guy, had a movie-style slow motion reunion with a friend I hadn’t seen an ages, and then got the train to Manchester. It was around 5pm at this time, and we had full intentions of queuing for a few hours to get a decent spot. However, England being English, it was absolutely chucking it down with rain, and so we decided that sitting in starbucks for a couple of hours was a lot more appealing than hyperthermia.
We got to the venue about a half hour before doors opened, and we were right at the front, much to our surprise. We went in, got almost center on the barrier. Awesome.
The support band were a band called the Choir of Young Believers. They were from Denmark, like Mew. They were musically really good, the lead singer had a gorgeous voice and an epic beard, yet they were a little bit pretentious. The drummer was adorable though, he looked like a startled rabbit when he played. I did have a picture, but my phone decided against saving it (along with all my other pictures and videos of the gig -_-).
And then it was Mew. I must admit, I had no idea what to expect. I first listened to them a few years ago, and then on and off ever since. They have such a unique, hard to describe sound that I had no idea what kind of gig they would do or what kind of atmosphere to expect.
They blew me away. There were visuals, lights all over the place, strobes, projection, everything. Lead singer Jonas Bjerre, although barely moved about the stage the entire gig, had every member of the audience’s eye glued to him, with his beautiful yet eeire voice. It’s really hard to describe just what it was like, so I did take a video, however as I mentioned earlier, my phone failed me on this part.
Another thing I want to mention is the crowd. It was the most civilised gig I have ever been to, with the average age being about 27, it was like being in a theatre with really polite clapping between songs…for the support band at least.
All in all, really, really good night, such an amazing band, and I have another ticket for my wall :)
Hope everyone’s having a good weekend.

Crazy lights + freaky projection + trippy music = AWESOME. :)
More substantial blog on Mew tomorrow when I am awake enough to do it some justice :)
Guy Fawkes the only man to enter the Houses of Parliament with honest intentions…
Not only did he fail at blowing the King to pieces he had an awesome hat.
In the UK we celebrate this epic fail, by burning a effigy of Guy, or someone publically hated, Nick Griffin for example, and by setting of fireworks.
This night filled of fun, is great for everyone (except pets) and it’s really good for photography!
I’ll be uploading my pictures soon! Check back!

Another short one tonight (I know, I know, but i’m tired and sleepy!), sorry!
So today was Bonfire night, or guy fawkes night as it’s properly called :) Spent it with Mike and the family, doing the family tradition of congregating in my Auntie’s back garden watching the Runcorn fireworks. T’was surprisingly fun, and the last 30 seconds of fireworks weren’t that bad either :P
Tomorrow, I have a ridiculously long textiles lesson, then an hour & 15 mins of History, and i’m free for the weekend! Going to see Mew in the evening, which should be fun :)
Anyway, that’s it for me tonight, i’m off to sleep :)
